2026-2027 Scholarship Application Open

The Harper College Educational Foundation provides funding for more than 240 scholarships thanks to the generosity of Harper College donors and alumni. These scholarships are awarded based on the detail and quality of your essays, and the scholarship criteria. Scholarships open on February 16 for the following Fall & Spring semester.

Start by completing the General Scholarship Application and you could be matched to receive a scholarship. You may be directed to additional Apply-To Opportunities based on your responses to the general application. These opportunities require additional information such as reference letters or additional questions.  However, most of our opportunities only require that you submit the General Scholarship Application. By submitting this application, you are being considered for over 200 scholarships. 

Criteria for each scholarship varies and has been established by the donor. Examples of scholarship criteria include: financial need, residency, grade-point average, program of study, first-generation college student, and more! Regardless of citizenship status, we encourage all students to apply for scholarships.

• February 16 – A new scholarship cycle opens for the upcoming academic year
• March 20 – Preference is given to current Harper students who apply by this date.
• May 1 – Priority is given to new Harper students who apply by this date.
