Come and enjoy Adaptive Sports Day and International Day of Persons with Disabilities. Adaptive Sports Day at Harper College is designed to increase general awareness regarding adaptive sports and to promote physical activity for everyone. Below is a general list of events and highlights for the day. Participants are able to attend one or all of the events:

  • Guest speaker, Roseann Sdoia: Author, Boston Marathon Bombing Survivor and Amputee (12:15pm)
  • Take your photo with local major league team mascots (1:00pm)
  • Interactive booths from a variety of campus and community partners. Come learn about various adaptive sports and try out new sports and technologies! (All day)
  • Meet former NFL players (All day)
  • Chair Yoga: Sessions will run in half hour increments (1:00pm; 1:45pm; 2:30pm)
  • Test your skills on a fun obstacle course! (All day)
  • UW-Whitewater Wheelchair Basketball Team presentation and demonstration (3:00pm)
