About this Event
The Harper College Theater Ensemble presents "Lettie" by Boo Killebrew, directed by Kevin Long.
After her release from prison, Lettie is desperate to regain custody of her teenage children. Her children, who have been cared for by her half-sister, want little to do with her. Her re-entry job is anything but gentle as she takes on the dark, harsh world of welding. Lettie will stop at nothing to reclaim her family and start life anew; however, she is constantly confronted by her past and must make impossible choices to protect her future. Inspired by real Chicago stories, Lettie is a powerful, moving, and funny play.
Content Advisory: strong language that may not be appropriate for younger patrons.
