Hawks Care Resource Center is sponsoring our second annual campus competition using the theme "Hunger is not on the Menu,” and all food used for the sculptures will be available in our campus pantry after the event.  Sculptures will be built April 20-24, and the exhibition with voting will be in the Rotunda April 27-30.   Please support Hawks Care through your participation in a sculpture team, voting, or volunteering for de-Canstruction on May 1.

Canstruction is an international hunger campaign that has distributed millions of pounds of food to local food banks through our unique design/build competitions and exhibitions.  Founded in 1992, the event is now held across the U.S., Canada, Australia, Europe, China and South America.  The organization’s primary mission is to highlight the issue of hunger in our community, collect food for distribution to thousands of hungry people and to shine a spotlight on the design/build industry.
