Chair Massage Fundraiser for Alzheimer's Assc

Join the Harper College Massage Therapy Program for our annual Chair Massage-Athon Wednesday 7/8 and Thursday 7/9 from 10:15-11:45am and 1:45-3:15pm.

Massage Therapy Program students will provide 10-minute seated chair massage sessions for a suggested $10 donation to the Alzheimer's Association (though a higher donation is of course welcome and appreciated!) Donations can be made online to the website linked here or using the QR code which will be available at the event. 

We will be in the lobby of the Harper College Rec Center, just next to the baseball field close to parking lot 1.

No appointments needed - sessions are first-come-first served.

This fundraiser is in conjunction with the national Alzheimer's Association's Do What You Love to End Alzheimer’s fundraiser (formerly “The Longest Day”), raising funds to help advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. 

A chair massage session is done with the client remaining fully clothed and seated in a chair specially designed for your comfort. The therapist stands behind the client and works on the muscles of the shoulders, neck, back and arms. Client often report feeling relaxed but also energized and invigorated after a chair massage.

As a thank you, we will send you a $10 coupon that can be redeemed in the Massage Therapy Teaching Clinic for a regular table appointment. Just email a screenshot of your donation receipt to jmiller4@harpercollege.edu and the address where you would like the $10 coupon mailed to.
