Stop by the Avante Concourse anytime between 10:30am - 1:30pm on Wednesday, April 8 to observe the Clothesline Project and learn about various sexual assault and interpersonal violence resources at Harper and within the community. The Clothesline Project is in partnership with Northwest Center Against Sexual Assault (CASA).  Light refreshments will be provided.

  • The Clothesline Project is a visual display of t-shirts made by survivors and significant others of violence against women.
  • A display of the Clothesline Project bears witness to survivors of violence against women.
  • The Clothesline Project helps significant others and survivors of violence with the healing process.  Making a t-shirt to add to the Clothesline Project can be very therapeutic.
  • The Clothesline Project is displayed at local high schools, colleges, and community events to educate, document, and raise society’s awareness of the extent of the problem of violence against women.
  • Most Clothesline Project t-shirts are made by local high school students during educational programs.
