Democracy in Action, Part One: A Historical Look at Democratic Activism

This event will explore social movements, often youth/student-led, such as the LGBTQ rights movement, the anti-Apartheid movement, and climate activism.

Speakers: Monica Edwards (ANT/SOC), Michael Bentley (Humanities, Social Justice Studies), and Sonnet Gabbard (Coordinator for Student Diversity Initiatives, LGBTQ+).
