https://www.harpercollege.edu/leadership/planning/strategic-planning/dialogue-sessions/business.phpHarper College is working with the community to develop an updated strategic plan. Once completed, this plan will set a strategic course for the College as it strives to achieve its vision of being an innovative and inclusive institution, the community’s first choice and a national leader for student success. The new strategic plan will guide Harper College for the next four years. A series of gatherings and events are being planned to ensure broad input from all. At this event, we ask:
How have expectations in the workplace changed?
According to the World Economic Forum, 65% of children entering primary school will ultimately work in a job that doesn’t exist today. The half-life concept states that professional skills last five years. Thus, by 2024 the skills we need, regardless of industry, will have changed. How do these dramatic changes impact how we educate students for the future? A distinguished panel of experts will discuss these trends to help us prepare for future.
RSVP is requested by September 27 by filling out the RSVP form. For more information, contact strategicplanning@harpercollege.edu.
The event is open to anyone interested in helping to define Harper College’s strategic focus and includes opportunities for broad participation and sharing. A panel of experts will offer insights into this important topic.
