Erasing the Distance: Not all disabilities are visible
Anxiety, PTSD, depression… these mental health challenges are invisible disabilities that affect the way we move through school and the world. Experience life through someone else’s eyes, as live actors bring stories of invisible disabilities to life by portraying true stories of individuals managing various mental health issues. You’ll experience how they overcome challenges and persevere. You will also learn about the resources available at Harper to help you, or someone else managing a temporary or permanent disability, succeed in school and life.
After the presentation, you will have a safe space to ask your questions about disabilities and available accommodations for students.
A Disability Cultural Program brought to you by Access and Disability Services.
