Facing Our Truth: 10-minute Plays on Trayvon, Race, and Privilege
A Virtual Stage Reading curated by Laura Pulio Colbert
In 2013 Keith Josef Atkins Artistic Director of The New Black Fest produced Facing Our Truth after the George Zimmerman verdict was announced. Atkins, together with other artists of color, created this series of short plays that focus on issues of race and privilege. Join us online virtually as we explore the complicated relationship with race and privilege that has been a part of our Nation’s fabric since its inception.
Please note: Performances will be subject to state and college public health restrictions.
