Karl G. Henize Observatory Free Community Viewing Sessions

Experience the wonder of the universe and the excitement of discovery. Not only can you observe objects near and far, but volunteers provide interpretation of what you're seeing. Observatory events are free and open to the community.

Spring 2025 Public Observing Sessions:

Friday, April 11, 2025 from 8:30 to 10pm
Saturday, April 26, 2025 (Astronomy Day) open viewing from 8:30 to 10:30pm
Friday, May 9, 2025 from 9 to 10:30pm
Friday, May 23, 2025 from 9:30 to 10:30pm
