The Kenneth Young Center is offering free Naloxone (Narcan) training for all students, faculty, staff, and community members. Naloxone is an opioid antagonist medication that is used to reverse an opioid overdose.

Narcan will be available in all AED machines across campus in case of an emergency. In addition, all Harper police carry Narcan.

Three 30-minute presentations will be offered. Each session will cover education about commonly used opioids, the signs of an overdose, and how to administer Narcan, with time for Q&A. All participants will receive Narcan at the end of the training. Presentations will be on Tuesday, AprilĀ 30 in Building M, M2012 at 12:00pm - 12:30pm | 12:45pm - 1:15pm | or 1:30pm - 2:00pm.
