Presentation: Lyrik will discuss an inspiring story of growing up Latine in Chicago’s Humboldt Park neighborhood, overcoming bullying as a plus-sized artist, and navigating the layered challenges of bias related to LGBTQIA + identity. Through resilience, cultural pride, and perseverance, this story speaks to the strength it takes to thrive while embracing one’s whole identity, and finding success on Broadway, and Hollywood.
