About this Event
Beginning September 7, in honor of Suicide Prevention Week (September 5 - 11), Harper students and employees will be chalking the walk with mental health talk and other mental health signage. Take a walk around campus to learn more about mental health resources, how you can help a friend or loved who may be experiencing a mental health crisis, and come together to help reduce the stigma surrounding mental health. In addition, be on the lookout for some on-campus tabling booths to learn more how you can get involved and promote mental health awareness.

If you would like to be involved with chalking the walk, contact Beth Ripperger, Harper Wellness Manager, at eripperg@harpercollege.edu.
September is National Campus Safety Awareness Month. During this time, we’re highlighting our commitment to creating a welcoming and safe environment for our students, employees and the community by providing information and a broad variety of engaging opportunities on the topic of campus safety.
