America’s first youth poet laureate Amanda Gorman writes, “Poetry, and art in general, means showing up with your best self. And whoever that may be, that – in and of itself – is beautiful. The more that we can bring our authentic selves, with hope, into the moment – the more that moment will show up for us.” Come share your best, most beautiful self with us as we take a moment to speak out about what’s in our hearts. Folks are welcome to participate in the slam event, which will be adjudicated to offer feedback, or share in the event as spectators. All levels and comfort zones are welcome!
