Piano Ensemble

Piano Ensemble brings together local advanced pianists and Harper piano faculty. We feature a variety of repertoire and can guarantee you an awesome listening experience! With 4 concert grand pianos onstage, along with one vertical piano, the sounds range from a whisper to overwhelmingly massive and thrilling. Our pianists are highly trained and motivated to put on their best performance ever. Come and enjoy works by Germaine Tailleferre, French composer who died in 1983 and whose works are rarely heard. Other nations represented will Germany, Italy, Argentina, Australia, the U.S. and Poland. Special features will be “The Impossible Dream” by Mitch Leigh and waltzes by Johann Strauss, Jr., whose 200th birthday celebration is this year.
