About this Event
Sometimes, we get so busy loving our families, friends, and even strangers that we forget to give ourselves the attention we need. As we dive into the year of 2022, we all are probably wanting to be the best versions of ourselves. January is a time where we see an opportunity to do so as it often feels like a fresh start. Many of us make “New Year’s Resolutions,” and while letting go of our bad habits is great, the implementation of self-love is imperative to achieving our goals as self-love has the power to make you happier and stronger.
Join Harper Wellness on Wednesday, January 26 (virtually) from 12:00pm - 12:50pm to learn more about self-love and how to create more of it within yourself to help you start the new year off with a more positive mindset and focus.
During this event, participants can learn more about the importance of body positivity, which is a movement that emphasizes that all bodies are deserving of respect. Participants can also learn different skills on how to speak more kindly to themselves, techniques on how to surround themselves with more positivity and how to treat themselves the way they deserve to be treated. Those that attend the virtual session will receive a $5 Starbucks gift card, which can be used at the on-campus Starbucks!
This event was created in hopes of reminding students, staff and employees of Harper College that self-love is a priority. The more self-love you have, the better you are able to support your overall well-being. The relationship you have with yourself is life-long – let’s make it a good one!
