With a nod to Op art and Color field painting, Gina Hunt creates site-specific installations and paintings that play with our visual perception. Using canvas, dyes, paint and wood, her work challenges our understanding of the structure of painting and its relationship to space. Hunt’s work has been exhibited nationally since earning her MFA in 2015 from Illinois State University. She is a Chicago-based artist and educator.

2021-22 Art Exhibitions and Lectures

For the 2021-22 season, our exhibitions will be installed in the Art Exhibition Space. Viewing will be subject to state and college public health restrictions. This should include limited open hours for viewing as well as by appointment. The physical exhibitions will be documented and available online along with other virtual content including artist interviews.
