Wheels of Gratitude Veterans Recognition and Food Truck Festival

The Harper College Student Veterans Association, Human Resources, and Student Engagement invite you to attend this celebration of our students and employees who have served or are currently serving in the United States Military. The event begins with a brief ceremony in the Building D Rotunda at 11 a.m., followed by a Food Truck Festival in the Harper Quad, where local vendors will be selling their lunch specialties. Cash, debit, and credit cards accepted.

Harper College students and employees who are a U.S. Veteran or currently serving will receive a free lunch voucher and access to a fast pass lane!

In honor of Native American History Month, Student Engagement is proud to host the Trickster Cultural Center, https://www.tricksterculturalcenter.org/, for a drum and dance demonstration, and the Student Veterans Association (SVA) is hosting a Toys for Tots Drive for new, unwrapped, toys and books. The Toys for Tots suggested minimum is $10 per item.

The Cockrell Dining Hall in Building A will be closed for lunch during the event. Subway, Starbucks, and Mr. Beast Burger will remain open.members will lead a Colors Ceremony.
